Service Description
Brightspace is the official Learning Management System (LMS) at SUNY Brockport. LMS courses may be used for online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.

Features
Standard Service Features Include:
- Facilitates communication between faculty and students
- Provides assignment and inline grading
- Access to attendance rosters and grade centers
- Create a repository of information for every course
- Provides a solid platform for fully online courses
- Automatic course creation including enrollments for courses listed in Banner
Optional Service Features Include:
- Integrated web-conferencing tool,
- Developmental courses for building courses before an academic course shell is created
- Departmental & Group training and consultation requests
- Integrated video recording with Kaltura and VoiceThread
Note: Requests to Merge a Course, Organization Request, Training, and Course Restore requests should be submitted from their separate services pages.
