Overview

The Technology Fee provides students with the broadest possible access to the expanding educational technology services on campus. The Technology Fee also provides students with individual e-mail accounts, printing stipend (i.e., reports and resumes), greater access to online library databases, more computing labs across campus and regularly upgraded equipment for those labs.

Some Things Your Tech Fee Partially Pays For

  • Campus Internet connection and networks

  • Computers

  • Printers, Scanners & other Peripherals

  • Individual e-mail account

  • Access to the College's Campus Information System (Web Banner) from the World Wide Web

  • Smart classroom technology

  • Computer maintenance and replacement

  • Access to Drake library databases and services

  • College community access to computers

  • Software (some you can download from home!)

  • Upgrades/maintenance of Brightpace

  • Audio/Video equipment maintenance and replacement

  • IT Service Desk/Student Tech Support

  • Wi-Fi access

  • Instructional labs

  • New Initiatives & Pilot Programs

  • Audio/Video and computer technology for class presentations

  • Student Employees

  • OneDrive

  • VLab
