Recently SUNY Brockport email accounts have been getting phishing emails claiming students have unclaimed money. The email makes the following claims:
- They are the U.S. Department of Education
- If you submit your information and maybe pay a processing fee you will get the money
- The money is also in relation to hardships experienced due to COVID

Forward all suspected phishing emails to ReportPhish@brockport.edu and delete them. Do not reply, click on any links or download any attachments.
