Getting suspicious text messages (SMS phishing or smishing) and phone calls (Voice phishing or vishing) asking for personal information or other unusual requests is becoming increasingly common. The messages may even look like they come from people you know. But the message is odd or vague and seems unusual or suspicious. Please do not reply to these messages. Please report the occurrence to your cell phone provider so that they can address it. Each cell phone provider has their own process so please check with them.
