How to Reset Your Password

To change your NetID password, follow the instructions below:

If you don't know your current password or it is not working:

  1. Go to Brockport.edu

  2. Select the “Information For” drop down menu

  3. Then select the appropriate group you belong to 

  4. Select “Webmail” from the menu on the left

  5. Select “Sign In”

  6. Enter your full Brockport email (netID@brockport.edu)

  7. Click “Next”

  8. Click “Forgot my password”

  9. Complete the captcha and click “Next”

  10. Select “I forgot my password” and click “Next”

  11. You should have an option to have a code sent to the email address you applied to Brockport with. Current students should have the option to use the phone number or email address you enrolled with.

  12. Once you receive the code, enter the code and click "Reset password" 

    • NOTE: Brockport encourages you to set a strong, Brockport specific password for your account. To view the University's password practices and standard policy, click here

If you know your current password and can still log in:

  1. Navigate to WebMail in a web browser 
  2. Click on your name or profile picture in the top left corner.
  3. Select "View Account".
  4. Then "Security Info" in the left menu.
  5. Click "Change" next to Password.
